Translating Tianzhuo Chen’s visual universe into six handcrafted masks, the Asiandopeboys × Kuboraum Ocean Cage capsule collection unveils unique hand-enamelled designs conceived by Tianzhuo Chen, and developed from the aesthetic and symbolic world of Moyang 先祖 & Seaman 漁師.

One of a kind, each mask carries the traces of an artisanal process through glossy surfaces, vivid colour combinations and graphic gestures that echo the performance’s scenographic language.

Moyang 先祖 & Seaman 漁師, directed by Tianzhuo Chen in collaboration with dancer and choreographer Siko Setyanto, was presented in Venice as part of We Travel to Know Our Own Geography, Kuboraum’s performance programme during the opening week of the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia
