Seen is an opticians and premium eyewear retailer based in Manchester dedicated to showcasing the best eyewear from around the world.

Our story starts many years ago, when Seen founder Tareq was inspired after working as an optometrist in Australia. Noticing a strong focus on customer service, he realised this was something he wanted to bring back to the north of England.

In 2005 Seen was born - a new kind of opticians based on the twin pillars of great customer service and super-stylish, individual eyewear from the finest independent designers.

We’ve been changing the world one face at a time ever since.



So, understandably you may have a few questions before ordering. 

Here is our run through the most commonly asked to help you along. If however you would like to contact the team with something not answered here, please do so via our contact page.


When will my order arrive?

See our shipping page for full details, but in a nut shell, frame only and sunglasses orders should dispatch within 24 hours of your order. And are shipped using next day service.

Prescription service is within 5 working days for dispatch and shipped using next day service.


Can I get prescription sunglasses?

Not yet. We are fast working on offering this service so look out for this very soon.


Can I come and choose want I want in store?

You sure can. The Seen Team are experts at helping you find the perfect style for you.

We'd love to welcome you to our store in Manchester. 

If Manchester is just too far but you still want some advice from the Team, please contact us on info@seen.co.uk and we'll see what we can do via pictures/webcams etc.


Do you sell all the styles you have in store on this site?

No. We have some collections that are for sale in store only. Collections such as Theo, Anne Et Valentin, Orgreen and a fair few more too. It is definitely worth visiting the Seen store if you can make it to Manchester.
