Jacques Marie Mage The Last Frontier

In this, the third edition of the highly-coveted Last Frontier collection, Jacques Marie Mage has once again turned to America’s southwest for inspiration and once again produced something that’s truly luxurious and astoundingly well-crafted.

Designed in Los Angeles and handmade in Japan, the Last Frontier’s frames are completed with fine-quality, plant-based acetate and include sophisticated touches of decadence like sterling silver or gold adornments; jewellery-like embellishments of real, non-dyed turquoise; and textile-inspired filigree details reminiscent of the traditional crafts unique to the American Southwest.

Jacques Marie Mage’s Rawlins, Kirwin and Dayton glasses are some of the finest optical eyewear pieces you’ll find. Whilst the Cody, Driftwood, and Thundercloud sunglasses offer beautifully embellished takes on classic frame silhouettes.

We've also managed to get our hands on just one of the Driftwood in Russet frames from the Pecos Collection. These magnificent frames feature a hand-beaded design created in collaboration with Kewa Peublo artist Francisco Bailon. Only 75 have been made.

Available in a rich palette of some of JMM’s most popular acetate colours, the Last Frontier collection continues to exceed expectations and raise the bar for small batch eyewear.
