Behold… the GLCO X Ozzy frames have arrived.
Created by Garrett Leight in conjunction with Ozzy over the last few years, they were originally a collaboration rather than a eulogy—but since his passing this July now serve as a tribute to the Prince of Darkness, Black Sabbath lead singer and all-round heavy metal pioneer.
This is a collection that's meant to celebrate his legacy and cultural impact. Ozzy's music and style were a huge deal, and his eyewear wasn't just some accessory; it was part of his whole vibe, a symbol of originality and the fearless way he went about life.
And what a tribute they are. Essentially a super-luxurious, high-quality take on the signature purple-lensed teashades Ozzy started wearing in the mid-90s, they’ve got a suitably ornate edge, with custom filigree detailing, embossed temple-tips and the perfectly-sculpted bridge.
Or in layman’s terms, they look ace. Dust off those Sabbath LPs, chomp the head off a bat (or maybe just eat a large sandwich?) and hop aboard the crazy train…
