DITA was founded back in 1995 by lifelong friends John Juniper & Jeff Solorio.
Both have a penchant for photography, filmmaking and design which lead to a mutual decision to start designing the ultimate fashion accessory, eyewear.
Utilising modern materials and shapes, DITA's designs distinguish themselves with quality, look and fit. Unsatisfied with the uninspired, low-quality offerings from the day’s leading designers and fashion houses, John and Jeff created DITA as an alternative to label branded eyewear.
DITA’s ability to enhance and transform a wearer’s persona has earned the brand a cult-like following amongst the world’s most influential celebrities, stylists and trendsetters.
If you’re the kind of person who lives life on your own terms and refuses to settle for anything but the best, then welcome to our world.
DITA's logo details are intentionally subtle so that the frame itself defines the look rather than the logo. This allows the design of the frame to complement features of the wearer and contribute to their overall style.
During the production of a pair of DITA glasses, their acetate frames are slowly tumbled in genuine, hand-cut bamboo chips of varying shapes and sizes. This leaves the product with a higher quality finish that you’ll immediately see and feel the moment you hold a DITA frame in your hands.
