International Women’s Day was on Sunday 8th March and as part of its global celebrations of the achievements of the world’s ladies, we’ve launched a limited edition Emmeline Pankhurst cloth, with all the profits going to local charity, The Pankhurst Trust.
Based in Manchester, The Pankhurst Trust does some amazing work for women. As well as continuing Emmeline Pankhurst’s fight for a more equal society, and maintaining the Pankhurst Centre museum, the trust supports Manchester Women’s Aid in providing vital help to those suffering from domestic violence and abuse, giving abuse survivors the chance to live fear free.
The specialist eyewear cleaning cloth comes in Seen purple with a sketch of none other than Emmeline Pankhurst who was born and bred right here in Manchester and was the founder of the suffragette movement.
