Introducing… Kuboraum

Continuing to push the limits of visceral storytelling and product innovation, Jacques Marie Mage and luxury brand Enfants Riches Déprimés have joined forces to create The Upsetter sunglasses in Black. The style debuted at Paris Fashion Week in 2022, during which ERD designer and co-founder Henri Alexander Levy included the frames in the brand’s runway presentation, utilizing them as provocative punctuations to a Spring/Summer 2022 collection that felt like a posh-punk love letter to ‘90s grunge.
Both brands are known for their deft explorations of the cultural proclivities of the late-20th century, while also drawing upon the contrasting energies of Paris and Los Angeles. As with all Jacques Marie Mage eyewear, these limited edition glasses are meticulously crafted in small batches in Japan utilizing a combination of multi-generational expertise and modern innovation. The resulting glasses are an eloquent expression of fine taste and an uncompromising attention to detail.
